Our top furniture picks from Sweetpea and Willow
If you haven’t heard of Sweetpea and Willow, then start following them on Instagram. If you know about them but haven’t ever been to their showroom, then go. I have furniture for my own home from Sweetpea and Willow. They are also my go to for interior and furniture inspiration.
As Sweetpea and Willow are one of our favourite go to furniture shops, or should I say ‘Interior Heaven’, I wanted to share them with you. But I also thought that it might be nice for me to go through our top furniture picks from their website right now as well.
The company was started back in 2006 with a very clear vision in mind. To inspire every house owner to create a home of their dreams, at affordable prices. Although their collection has increased in size and their showroom has undergone a drastic and beautiful makeover. Their vision still remains the same.
So here are my favourite furniture pieces from the collection, and exactly why I think you need them in your home.
Sweetpea and Willow have the perfect mix of contemporary, luxury and french chic furniture. They also have their own Handmade With Love range, that is designed and made by the team.
Armchairs
Occasional armchairs have become a bit of an interiors trend. Whether that be squeezed into the corner of a bedroom, or used as a replacement for a second sofa. If an armchair doesn’t feature in your list of furniture items within your home, then you are seriously missing out. So here are my top three armchair pics from Sweetpea and Willow’s range.
1. The Eichholtz Rowen Chair – Loki Nautral
This chair has a very contemporary look, but at the same time is also very rustic. But perhaps the rustic comes from the colour of the linen. The frame is stainless steel and can be delivered in approximately 2-3 weeks.
Dimensions – W: 66cm D: 87cm H 68cm
Price – £1,695.00
It’s not a cheap armchair, but I think it is definitely one worth investing in to add to your living room furniture collection.
This chair would be a bold accent addition to any interior space. It’s upholstered in royal blue velvet and has silver studding, which gives it that glamorous look. Delivery is estimated at 1-3 weeks.
Dimensions – W: 74cm D: 92cm H: 84cm
Price – £693.00
As a slightly more affordable option, this armchair would perfectly as a colour pop in a bedroom design. Although it’s not the smallest chair, so you would need to check your room.
This piece of furniture is from the Handmade with Love range, and so you can select what fabric and piping fabric you would like to use. This does mean that the lead time is a little longer. Delivery would be approximately 8-10 weeks.
Price – Starting from £1,520.00
Of course the price does depend on the fabric that is chosen. You can choose from a selection of fabrics at Sweetpea and Willow, or even provide your own.
We couldn’t do a blog on top furniture picks without including sofas!
Sweetpea and Willow Sofas
Sofas are the most important piece of furniture in a living room. So here are my Sweetpea and Willow favourites.
1. The Eichholtz Monterey Sofa – Savona Midnight Blue
The slight curve in the back means that the design of this sofa is a really elegant one. It also helps to soften what can look like a very dominating piece of furniture. This is an off the peg sofa and so can be delivered in approximately 2-3 weeks.
Dimensions – W: 195cm D: 88cm H: 75cm
Price – £2,990.00
This is an incredibly luxurious looking sofa, and the piping detail finishes it off perfectly. It’s part of the Handmade with Love range and so is made to order in your choice of size, with your selection of fabric. The delivery is therefore approximately 8 – 10 weeks.
Price – Starting from £1,450.00
The price is determined by the size and selection of fabric.
This sofa is one that you would want to jump onto after a long day at work or relax into if you are having a lazy day at home. The extra deep seats ensure comfort. It’s a modular sofa and made to order with an estimated lead time of 8-10 weeks.
Price – Starting from £2,470.00
Of course the overall price would be determined by the size and fabric choice.
They have such a range of different headboard styles, that feature all over Instagram and within high end Interiors Magazines. All styles are available to view at their showroom.
We could not talk about Sweetpea and Willow’s furniture and not mention their gorgeous bed designs. From time to time they feature in some of the huge Interior Design magazines. They do really well whenever posted on Instagram, and they have such a range of different headboard styles.
Beds and Headboards
If I needed a new bed, the Olivia bed would be the one I’d be ordering. The headboard offers enough of a wow, whilst still remaining relatively simple. It is also part of Sweetpea and Willow’s Handmade with Love range. So could be with you in approximately 8-10 weeks.
Price – From £1,360.00
Available in Single, Double, King, Super King and Emperor sizes.
Having lived in or around Chiswick for the last 4 years, I think I might love this bed partly due to it’s name. It has that boutique look with the nickel studding on the headboard. Another made to order product, this bed could be delivered in approximately 7-9 weeks.
Price – From £1,360.00
Available in Single, Double, King, Super King and Emperor sizes.
For those who aren’t a fan of an upholstered bed, then this is a great wooden alternative. With a French inspired design and light grey finish this bed would be great for a slightly more rustically styled room. With 4 still available at time of purchase, it could be with you in 1-2 weeks.
Price – £914.00
Available only in King size.
Sweetpea and Willow don’t just make and sell large furniture pieces like Armchairs, Sofas and Beds. They also have lots of complimentary products too. In fact my own Bedside Tables are from Sweetpea and Willow, which you can see in the blog post all about my home.
I have a really long room, and so our wall run includes an armchair, a chest of drawers, two bedside tables and our bed. Although because the wall is so long, we actually managed to fit chest of drawers in as side tables. I choose the Dark Grey Shagreen 2 Drawer Chests.
They are a stocked item, and so they arrived with us in just 2 weeks. Everyone comments on how beautiful they are, and I’m still in love with them 2 and a half years on.
My bedside tables are actually from Sweetpea and Willow. Everyone comments on how beautiful they are, and I still love them 2 and a half years on.
The Sweetpea and Willow showroom is based in Isleworth, not that far from our offices actually. It’s just undergone a beautiful renovation. And it’s set up as lots of little rooms. When I first visited, I think I could have just bought almost every ‘entire room’. Good job I left my credit card at home!
It’s open on Monday – Friday from 9.00am until 4.30pm. It also opens on the Last Saturday of every month from 10.00am until 4.00pm. Although you don’t need to book an appointment, if you do, then one of the team will be able to walk you round and answer any of your questions.
This is one of my go to places for furniture shopping, interiors inspiration and great products sold at great prices. I think you will love everything that they sell.
