Want to have a look around my home?
Last week on Instagram, I asked you for a few Interiors Blog Ideas. Someone asked for a video tour of my home, and so I thought I’d film one for you. It’s in a Vlog style, so you see my pineapple hair, get to listen to my tumble dryer going off and see me waffling on about where our furniture is from. I hope you like it!
Not quite MTV Cribs, here is my version of my home tour! I live in a two bedroomed apartment in West London, and this video shows you every corner of my home.
I thought the best way to show you my home was just by walking you around it. Living in such a small space it was tricky to keep you from seeing the washing, the recycling that was yet to be taken down to the garage and the remains of our recently exploded microwave. But I put in a good effort!
Rather strangely, I do actually like to keep it looking like a show home. So as you see it in this video, is pretty close to what it looks like on a daily basis. Just perhaps ‘the best version’. We’ve changed a lot over the nearly three years we’ve been living there, but there are still things I’d like to change and to add. But isn’t that just the life of an Interior Designer?!
For any of you that haven’t seen my home before, or want to read a little more about it, then I wrote a blog post on it here. Otherwise, enjoy the video and let me know if there is anything that you would like to see more of.
Lots of my furniture was made to order, but I've linked where they came from just in case.
Where everything from my home is from
Just in case you wanted to find or source any of the items that I have in my home, I thought I would list where everything is from. Remember that we have been here for nearly three years now and so some pieces are old. Some pieces were also made bespoke, and so aren’t available to purchase either. But I will do my best to Link what I can.
